Why you should come in Winter to NEXO Surfhouse
Winter Season is prime time for those who care more about a powerful swell and don’t really mind about the weather. Near uncrowded spots such as Yerbabuena, Los Caños, Tarifa,… are perfect to be explored. No need to bring your own equipment, here you can rent from a varied quiver of NEXO Surfboards you can change according to the waves in your chosen spots and your necessities, and wetsuits. If you want to take classes, just let us know.
The Winter Season is soft and quite humid, with no wind. So there are usually sunny mornings and short evenings, time for surfing in the morning and cozyness, movies, read and disconnect in the evening. There are rainy periods with a temperature similar to that of the tropical, hence the occasional showers. In spite of all, continuous rain is a very rear sight. Winter in southern Europe is never that severe.
Water temperature is around 15ºC so a 4/3mm wetsuit should be fine. Booties and hoody is optional but not necessary.
Enjoy a healthy and complete breakfast with garden views at NEXO Surfhouse and go for lunch to El Cartero and have some tapas for dinner at La Cervecería.
Plenty of local business are closed for the season so it is the perfect time to disconnect, read or finish that piece of work. After a surfing session, relaxing is part of the day.
There are no yoga classes scheduled during this season but you can always ask for them or come and practice by your own in the garden or the beach.

Start your day with a complete and healthy breakfast, check the forecast and grab your board from the NEXO Surfboards Test Center. The Winter Season is to visit Caños, Yerbabuena, Tarifa, Roche... The ocean is strong enough to bring waves everywhere, just choose where to surf according to wind condition and tides. Ask a local surf instructor at NEXO to show you those spots you should not miss or decide your own daily adventure.

1. Alquiler de Tabla (Nexo Test Center)
Con el pack de invierno, podrás probar nuestras tablas Nexo Surfboards. Pasa tanto tiempo como quieras en el agua y averigua cuál es tu tabla perfecta.
Tenemos un total de 25 tablas de surf a tu libre disposición. Te explicamos las diferencias entre los modelos de tablas y cuál elegir en función de las olas. Nuestros monitores de surf estarán encantados de asesorarte a diario sobre cuál es la mejor playa para surfear según las condiciones del mar.

2. Clase de Surf
Si lo prefieres, también puedes cambiar el alquiler de tabla por una clase de surf para perfeccionar tu técnica ó por un guía de surf que te enseñará los mejores spots de la zona.
